Just finished sanding the paint. Just primered it, and its gonna be teal green.

Re: One Ugly 1992 Camaro RS/Z28

Is that a model kit? Looks almost like it's a diecast or something cause it looks like there is metal under there. Post some more details and photos of the Camaro.

PS. When did you get a Lincoln?

I'm doing a similar project ('96 Firebird snap) but I'm not sure of the color yet. Plastikote makes an awesome teal if you want to try it.

Wow, 3rd Camaro final year model.
I built AMT's snap kit before but that kit doesn't include side mirrors.
yours are AMT?
teal green means dark green? not metallic? anyway, look forward to see that model repainted.

Re: One Ugly 1992 Camaro RS/Z28

Yes. It is plastic actually. I got the mirrors from the AMT 1982 (?) Camaro Z28 that they just re-released. From what I've heard, this is a pretty rare kit. Even though it is in fact a snap tite. This is the teal its going to be..

The Lincoln.. isnt mine..yet..even though im already searching for mods. LOL. I already contacted the owner, its Hunter Green, tan leather, 4 Speed Auto (only option), has coils instaed of the air bags, and has 139K Miles. Asking $2900. So far i've picked out a pair of Magnecor Competition 8.5mm Spark Plug Set, C&L 80mm Mass Air Flow Sensor Kit with Conical Filter, 4.6L DOHC SCP/Kooks 3/4 Length Torque Headers, Magnaflow X-Pipe Resonator, Trans-Go Shift Kit, and a 3.73 rear end. and Cobra R Style rims. Also an SCP Chip, and LMS White face gauges. I just some..cash. BTW these cars came with the 32V 4Cam V8 found in the SVT Cobras.

Do you have any images of the box? My brothers had one Camaro Z28 many, many years ago but my mother trashed the box (and the car ) before I even knew what modelling was....So I'm really curious if that is the one they had.

I got the kit right when they re-released it. I'm building it up as the 1982 Camaro Indy Pace Car.

Re: One Ugly 1992 Camaro RS/Z28

Sometimes CSC works for me on clear parts, and sometimes it just turn its kind of white. I guesss you have a 50% chance to see what happens.
The paint looks like it turned out pretty nice. Looks good on there.

Personally, the styling of the Lincoln isn't all that great, but if it has the same motor, it could be a pretty fast car.
Just a question, why did you buy another car when you already have a Camaro, and a few other cars, and vans?
