2004 Audi A4 3.0 versus 2001 Audi S4 2.7

Which one would you get? A new 2004 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro or an used Audi S4 2.7 Turbo (40K miles)? I'm not looking at modifying anything so it would be stock.

I know the S4 is faster, but that is not all of what I am looking at. Thanks!

Tough call I like both the 3.0 and 2.7, but I think I would get the S4, I happen to like that body style. If you're buying prom a private seller look it over good,they do have some things that goes wrong with them. If you want details of what to look for send me a PM.

For once I agree with Glenn The S4 looks better IMO, its faster, its got AWD, and its got 4 doors. So what does the A4 3.0 have over it? Other then being newer.

I used to own an 02 A6 with the same engine as the S4 you are thinking about getting. Now, I own an 04 A4 3.0 Quattro. My new car was about 4k cheaper. In terms of the engine, the 2.7 biturbo is pretty fun, but so is the 3.0. It's a close call, I'd go with the best price or interior that you like, the engines are very close in feel.
