Unhappy MK2 1.6 Carb to 1.8 Digifant GTI engine Conversion. Help Needed ASAP!

I need help on the following:
I'm looking to swap my 1.6 carb engine for my 1.8 digifant GTI engine. BOth golfs are MK2. The GTI has the earlier hazrd switch location (on dash) the 1.6 has it on the steering column. ie: The engine bay wiring looms I'm presuming will need to be swaped too? I'm also planning to transfer over from the GTI the rear disk brakes, complete exhaust and gearbox.<P>Has any one got any help, suggestions previour experience, problems encounterd they can let me know off. I'm looking to do this conversion this year and need as much info as I can so the mechanic knows what he needs to know. ie: hopefully cost me less to get done! Thank you very much for looking and hope you can help? Regards
Lee
