How do you paint/tint out the orange in taillights?

I have a 96 gsr with the red/orange/white taillights. I like the way the all red/white taillights look (like on 98up tegs). Where could I find how to tint/paint the orange out of my current taillights? What color/method do I use. Any help would be appreciated.
