Does anyone know what I need to do to take the woodgrain trim out of my 2k Max? I need to know b/c I'm getting the SE trim someone and need to give him the wood trim. Thanx

Hi,
If you're referring to a trim around radio/console and around the tools (speedo/tach), it's glued in. I did remove it off my 98'SE. I used chisels with edges covered with masking tape. The main issue is the surface condition after you'll remove the trim - it'll be rough and bad-looking; since it's a plastic, it's difficult to sand/polish. Regards, Eugene |
