Angry Silverado Transmission Slip

I have a 1997 Silverado 4X4 with 107,000. All of a sudden with out warning, the automatic transmission started to slip to the point where I had no engagement in any gear including reverse. If I let it cool for a few minutes, I would work for a couple of miles (let it cool, it goes another mile. Let it cool it went a 1/2 mile.) This continued until it wouldn't go more than a few yards. Fluid level is fine and I had a transmission service done 13 months ago. Any ideas?

Re: Silverado Transmission Slip

sounds like you need a rebuild. If you were close to northern Indiana, I could get it done for you fairly cheap. Good luck!
