weird idel?????

Ok heres the thing. My girlfriends 97 pontiac grand am is having issues. When ever the car idels the engine chugs or misses or something. Cant figure out for the life of me what is wrong. When she comes up to a stop sign and stops the engine chugs or whatever but as soon as she takes off it runs fine like there was nothing wrong. Also when she goes outside and warms the car up, as soon as you get into the car you can smell oil. Atleast thats what I think it smells like. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: weird idel?????

Maybe a faulty MAF? Otherwise, check the IAC and the plugs.
