I dont know if this is a repost or not, but I havent seen it here.

Here's the scenario....

You and your significant other are walking down the street with your 2 small children. All of the sudden, a scary looking man holding a very large knife comes round the corner. He then locks eyes with you and starts yelling obcenities and starts waving the knife in your direction. Then, he starts to charge at you and your family. However, you have a loaded Colt .45 under your jacket. What do you do?

The Liberal's Answer: Is he yelling at me? What gives me the right to kill him? What did I ever do to him? He never did anything to me. Is there somebody that he doesnt like standing behind me? If he does kill me, would he also kill my family? Could I possibly grab his knees, and while he is stabbing me, have my family run away from the man?

The Conservative's Answer: Bang.

The Southerner's Answer: Bang.......Bang Bang Bang. Bang. Bang Bang Bang. *click* *sound of reloading* Significant other says, "Honey, it looks like he is still moving. What do you think kids?" "Yes, he's moving alright. Shoot the f**ker!" Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang *click*

I live in the south too, but I found it quite amusing. Oh, and heck yeah I'd shoot him, probably just in the leg or something if I had enough time before he got to me, but it wouldn't be with a colt .45. Maybe an H&K USP .45 or a SigArms P228. Yeah, then we'd see.
