1997 aurora seat heater
driver seat heater not working. light does not come on. fuse ok,both sides uses same fuse,pass side works fine

This is a common problem with the heated seats.Usually the driver side goes first as it is the one with the most use. As your in and out of the drivers side more often the wiring breaks down and the seat stops working. Only fix I have heard of is to replace.

Each seat heater is controlled by a heater module located under each seat. You can swap one side for the other to determine if this is the cause. If not check heater resistance, open means no heating element circuit, ie broken element wire.
Remove the seats by cranking the height high and moving the seat forward. Take the track bolts out from the back of the seat. Alternately you can keep the track in place and just unbolt the seats. |

what does the heater module look loke? there is a lot of stuff under the seat?
