1995 Mustang Convertible Keyless Entry
Hi, i just picked up this 95 Mustang Convertible and before I order a remote on EBay, does anyone know what digits in the VIN or any other method to determine if this car has factory keyless entry? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The option code for keyless entry on a 95 convertible is 243C. I don't think the VIN # will tell you this, but you might find the code located on the door tag. That's just a guess though.

These instructions will work on Ford Mustang models, 94 - 98.5:
Turn ignition to RUN or ACC. Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located in LR quarter panel area. All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode. Press any button on 1st transmitter. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. Press any button on 2nd transmitter (up to 4 transmitters total possible). Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode. I have these remotes available in my Ebay Store. |
