Angry stupid car jackers

It's 1:30 in the morning and I can't sleep. I just got a call from my dad ( Where the GN is staying for the winter.) and he just got done talking to the county police. Four guys broke into my dads grage and attempted to steal my car. This is the 3rd time since last may!!!!! When will it stop??? . They did not catch them when the police came they scattered into the woods next to my dads house. I wonder what stoped them from taking the car considering the keys where in it.... Was it a dead battery? perhaps they just got scared. Or maybe it was the fact that the Engine is in front of the car turned upside down in the middle of a main bearing replacement . I put the hood back on the car so it would not get bent up. Guess it is hard to see in the dark.

Agreed. I just had one of my rims stolen off my Z28 last night at the mechanics. Bastards left my car on bricks on the right front quarter. BUt at least the mechanic is paying for a brand new rim and tyre since it was his fault for leaving my car parked outside the shop. BUt at least they didn't scratch the car or touch the stereo.

Re: stupid car jackers

nawwww, just chill with a 12ga and a couple shells of rock salt. and let loose on em when they show. bet they wont be back. or set up booby traps, i did this at my cabin in maryland, had a bunch of kids, they broke into the basement, and used it as a hangout, to drink smoke and whatnot, i confronted them, but they knew i couldnt prove they did it. so they blew me off, well, i set up no trespassing signs, that stated that violators would be prosecuted, so was legaly covered. and setup booby traps, a simple tripwire set to a springloaded pin behind a 12ga shell, all pellets and packing agents removed so there were no projectiles, and put plastic bags, filled with dog shit on top of them, aimed at the location where the tripwire was. well, i came back, all the traps were set off. and havent had a problem sense

Re: stupid car jackers

My brother just had his Camaro broken into. They did a number on the interior and his stereo. Car theives/vandals are the lowest rung on the evolutionary ladder.

I tend to agree with this.
Have you though about moving you car hypsi? Or at least better security measures, all though not having a motor in the car is a pretty sure fire way it's staying put. Glad nothing major happened, because that car is awesome!

I have a cutout switch for the computer as well as the fuel pump. The first time it happend it was in Washington IL, The second time was in Metamora. And now it happend in Eureka...I'm running out of places to store it.. I like the 12 gauge thing a little better. I should not have to hide my car so I can own it. IMO the cops need to do a better job. They say that a car gets stolen every 20 sec or something like that. Well when a cop pulles me over for something stupid like Loud Exahust . That 20 min he has me pulled over trying to be mr. hotshot. He could of cought a hell of alot of car theives.

Re: Re: stupid car jackers

the only reason cops pull alot of people over for stupid shit is because they have to have a certain amount of pull overs or some stupid shit i heard, is usually around the end of the month this happens, i got busted for window tint coming out of mir (maryland international raceway) cops have nothin better to do but get on peoples nervers around here in st. marys county, lol bull shit if you ask me

Re: stupid car jackers

yeah, its called quota, they are required to make a certain number of arrests/tickets/harassments in a month, so they find reasons around the end of the month to make their numbers, it is bullshit.
