Transmission?
Does anyone know where i could find, or if its even made, a Step-Tronic/Tiptronic auto transmission for a 98 trans am...?

I believe there's no such thing. Are you talking about a transmission like in the G35 Sedan, that is automatic generally, and then you can push it to the side and use it as a panel shifter?

yes that is exactly what i mean...they have it in many/most of new cars...i know its called a steptronic in the mitsu eclipse, and tiptronic in some other cars. I just think it would be fun to have such a thing in my TA without the strain of clutching in traffic and the boring use of only automatic.

I would tend to agree with that, but unfortunately, I've never heard of it for our cars...
