how do you post pictures? newbie question

when i go to reply and post, the forum rules at the bottom says i "cannot post attachments." why? do i need to be a donating member? help!

i uploaded to personal gallery. now what?

wait. i am dense and stupid. i am starting to get it. i must upload images to my "personal gallery." i will try that and see what happens.

ok. i uploaded an image. now i'm trying to find out how to get it on this post.

right click on the image, then go to properties, then on that window ull see a link (http://..) cut and paste that here, then put

[img] at the start of the link and [/img] at the end.

exammple [img] [your link here] [/img]

Damn, I went through all that detail in such a long post, on a different thread by the same user asking how to do the same, then quarter mile says it in 3-5 sentances! LOL, I suck...

i have a mac. there is no such thing as 'right click' and 'properties.' is there anyone here who has a mac? there must be because this is an artist's forum.

hey even with a mac u should be able to get the URL of the pics in ur gallerys and post them in your threads

I was also wondering how to post a picture so I'm gonna use this thread to test if I got it right.
