1997 Bonneville Horn Problems

I have a problem on my '97 Bonneville. The horn will go off on its own, with no one pushing on it. The dealer says it is a bad air bag that actually pushes the horn when it gets cold. Anyone heard of that? They want to replace the air bag for $600 or disconnect the factory horn and put another one in activated by a button on the dash. Neither option sets well with me. The wife won't just let me unplug it, so we know I have to fix it. Any ideas?

I have the exact same problem. The horn will not stop blowing. I have a 1990 Bonneville though so I don't think there is an air bag. Just happened yesterday so I'm still looking for a solution to disable the fatory horn. How do I turn off the horn? Help!
