My blower motor suddenly stopped working on my '97 Jimmy. It had a flakey switch, so I replaced it - still no blower. Fuse is OK. What else can I check?

Re: Blower motor
You can try checking your brushes. Also have you tried direct powering it to see if it works?

Re: Blower motor
I disconnected the lead from the motor with the switch on HI, and checked the voltage at the lead. Zero volts. Uh oh!

Re: Blower motor
I found the problem. There was a connector that had a corroded ground lead, so the motor itself wasn't grounded.
