2006 Jeep Commander, The blower motor always runs w/ the ignition switch in the on position. Vehicle is equipped w/ auto temp control (atc) and dual zone temp. the blower changes speeds from low to high but will not turn off. I have checked the wiring and my scanner will not show atc data (snap-on ethos) wich is needed to diag this type of system I believe. Anyone had this problem? It's not a relay sticking or anything simple like that I believe it is either the control head or the blower module.
![]() Data: voltage check at blower module connector (C1 cavities 2 & 3) - ground and blower control off, auto lo, auto hi all read 13.65v (bat voltage) speeds 1 - 11 range from speed 1 -10.36v to speed 11 -4.90v with steady change inbetween voltage check at blower motor connector power and ground (motor disconnected) speed 1 -13.14v to speed 11 - 12.61v w/ steady change all through the speeds and off, auto hi, auto lo being 13.14 (bat voltage) ![]() Any ideas? further testing i can do w/ tools avail? ?? |
