Update to Service Engine Soon Light
I just got back from Autozone. They gave me the code P0101. Something about the Mass Air Flow Sensor and something else about VAF. Not sure if I understood him correctly on the VAF. My main concern was to get the code number.
Anyway, I got to thinking, this past weekend I had taken the big black hose off to get to the throttle butterfly to clean it. It was sticking. I only took that end off, but I did loosen the clamp on the hose on the other end. I do admit I kind had to jerk around on it to get the end off to get to the butterfly and I noticed the air box for the air filter moving a lot but really didn't think I could be hurting anything. Anyway, is this mass air flow sensor located in this area. Maybe I nocked something loose. |

Re: Update to Service Engine Soon Light
P0101 Mass or Volume Airflow Circuit Range or Performance Problem. Yes the MAF Sensor could be on that hose. On the hose, were there any wires connected to it ? Could have you jerked on any ? Also check to see if the hose is on correctly I think it might throw a code if it isn't getting all its air from it.
