I hate the new year already!

I'm back from a small holiday vacation (and trip to the hospital). Anyways...I was on my way home from my friends' New Year's party about 3 in the morning. I was at least halfway home, when a Hummer H2 ran the red light and struck my car. I thought I was gonna be crippled, but the only thing I have to show for it is a scar on my forehead and my right arm in a cast. My point: I hate H2s(edit: I like the H1 better anyway) I hate the fact that people drink till they're so damn stupid to drive, and I hate this whole friggin' year! I'm stuck driving my mom's car for a while(until I have enough money to get another car) and she knows how much I hate it. The only good thing about it is that I still have another 2 weeks before I can go back to work. I swear; the next Hummer that passes my house is gonna get smashed the %@#% open!!!

I hate idiots who drink and drive. I hate idiots who can't follow the rules of the road. I'm sorry that you ran into a combination of those two. Glad to hear that you're going to be no worse for wear on this one.

Ditto. I honestly think people who drive drunk should have a mandetory prison sentance, but that's just me.

shit the dude that struck your car should give you a new one don't you think since it was his stupidity that got you in the hospital and made your car go to the junkyard (RIP). He definitely should give you a car and be like: I am sorry, please hit me over the head with your cast! and after you put him in a world of pain and get your brand new car that he pays it will be square!

That's why I choose not to drink and drive. It's just not worth it. However, you should hate the driver, not the H2 b/c the H2 didn't drive itself. You shouldn't hate the year b/c of this incident. You should be happy that your still alive to enjoy your life. Who cares if you have to drive your moms car, it'll get you from point A to B won't it? And you should also be glad you have a parent that will help you out and let you drive their car. I have several friends whose parents are so into themselves that they'd kill their own kids before helping them out. So you have a lot to be thankful for. Try and make the best of what you do have.......your life. It's not worth bumming around hating everything, things could be a lot worse.

Well, unfortunately, a majority of them who are in accidents survive, and they cant justifiably shoot a man in the name of the law. However, shooting him is fine with me; one less drunk driver.

I don't really hate my mom's car; it's just that I have to wake up at 4:00 a.m., take her to work, go back home for about another 1/2 hour of sleep before I have to go to class at the community college(and the weather right now is like 46 outside). I hate drunk drivers...Especially the ones who live across from me who get drunk off their asses every weekend.

If you know they go driving while they are drunk, when you see them leave, call the cops and inform them there are drunk drivers our and about, give them the plate number and vehicle description and let them do the rest.

That does suck. I remember when my brother's car was totalled by an Excursion - no alcohol involved, just a plain stupid driver in a vehicle too large for her. Now if they'd been driving a Geo Metro instead of an H2, practically nothing would've happened (it'd be like an accident between two golf carts) hoo-ray for light cars!

Update: I can use my right arm again(finally) and now I can go back to work(yay!) One good thing comes out of getting hurt: almost every girl you know will come and visit you.
