Life is but a dream, a giant illusion before our eyes. Open your eyes and assume control.

Re: wierd outlook on life

Sometimes I imagine I'm an invalid/mental patient in some rest home living my "life" in my head. If I speak, the invalid mumbles jibberish...if I go to the bathroom, the invalid sh*ts himself. When I drive my car the invalid sits up in bed and makes engine noises .

sometimes i think that this world is actually hell.
To see how much sadism and corruption has destroyed so many things in this world actually makes me question were we a mistake? We have the power to create yet it is so much easier to destroy
instead of trying to find a pacifistic way to end things we immediately begin to kill what beautiful things there are in the world. We can't be mammals, simple as that I don't see any other species in this world kill each other because they don't like each other, sure there is the whole survival of the fittest but it is usually meant in terms of strength and how much you can survive in the wild
our survival of the fittest specifically depends on the income we have. the more the income the more the power. Most congressmen are millionaires, every freaking capitalist representative shows their power through money. Instead of wasting so many millions of dollars on weapons of mass destruction we could be trying to find ways to end diseases and world hunger but no, government finds it so that we waste this money on finding ways to kill our fellow man. Falsely prophecising that they do this in peace yet it is the same concept as the wolf in sheeps clothing.
If all we do is kill each other than there is no doubt that this is indeed hell and we are all just puppets to some higher power to see if we passed the test of life. The way things are going I'd say the majority fail miserably.
oh well
just my opinion

Re: wierd outlook on life

i agree wit rsx-s777. maybe there is no world around us. we just see what we want to see, even though we may not know we want it. how do you know there are people on the other side of the world? once you get there, how can you be sure there is anyone back where you came from? we are limited by our vision, and that means we can not be sure there is anything beyond what we see. just like in the matrix, we could all be stored in some vault and just live our lives in separate worlds that we have imagined up our selves. we could all plugged into a computer and we make our world how we want it, we will never know............
sounds like im talking crap, but i just wrote what came out

That would be really sad, but I dunno, it could be true.

Just think, this whole thread could be to convince YOU that reality is something that it really isn't. But when you really think about it, it doesn't really matter. Just make the best of what you know and what you have.
