aftermarket V6 GT performance outlook
alright first of all i dont own a tiburon, i own a 93 MR2 Tubo. but my brother just bought his 2003 GT V6 today and i have had a chance to look at it. It was cheaper then the other cars he has been looking at so he has some extra money to burn.
he wants to make the car faster and asked me if i could help him find out. what is the current aftermarket outlook on these cars? what kind of performance mods are out there for these cars. i wouldnt know where to start so i would see what other owners were doing with there cars. so lay it to me, whats the potential for these cars? and please put links of places or sites i can look around for parts and info. Thanks for any help in advance, Kirt

the highest dyno i have seen on the v6 tib has been 247 std whp. someone pointed out that in SAE(the usual measurement) that this is roughly 236. that is the highest ive seen as of yet. there are rumors that at around 250 the thing breaks. do a search for "more info. on weak v6" on www.hyundaiaftermarket.com if you want to know why.
