alarm doesnt disengage from drivers side

I have a '94 4-door explorer with the factory anti-theft system. I locked myself out of my car a couple weeks back and AAA came and "broke in" and now when i unlock my car from the drivers side, my alarm doesnt disengage. The passenger side still disengages it. If it helps to know, when AAA came, they broke into the passenger side door, and when it opened, of course the alarm went off, and to disengage the alarm, i got the keys and re-unlocked the passenger side door, and i think that may have caused the problem cuz it wasnt the drivers side door...anyone have any idea whats wrong?

First thing I do is call AAA and tell them what happened. They will work with you and the contract station to resolve the problem that they may have caused.

You problem sounds to be electrically related, you will need to remove door panel to look for damaged wires. Did AAA try the Slim Jim tool on the driver's door?

No they only worked on the passengers side, they used a little metal thing that when u screw it, it prys the door open, and then they stuck a metal rod through the opening and pushed the button to unlock the doors electrically

The disarm wires/switches in these Fords are horrid. Check to make sure you do not have a broken wire in the door boot. If that's OK, make sure that the unlock switch is working. Your alarm should arm if you shut the door then lock it. It only arms when you lock the door with it open.
