Passenger side window only work from drivers side.

My problem is as follows:
I can only roll down my passenger side front window with the drivers side control. I can't roll down the rear passenger side at all. Fuse is fine, wiring isn't damaged, as far as I can tell. Any ideas on how to find out what could be causing this without going to the dealer? Thanks

Check the switches in the door panels. Make sure the connectors are firmly pressed onto the back of the switch.

Already tried that. Took out the box that holds the switches and checked connections, all tight. I would think it might be the box that holds both the door lock and window switches that might need replacement on the passenger side, but that doesn't explain the back seat problems. I find it hard to believe that these two are connected in some way other than possibly by wiring.

Re: Passenger side window only work from drivers side.

The only common thing for all the windows is the drivers switch.I would take a close look at the wiring between the drivers door and the body. Its in a rubber boot.Every time you open the door the wires are flexed and they break from the stress.Usually the drivers door speaker is what goes out.But I have seen several cases of it doing what you describe.I bet if you pulled that boot back you will probably find some broken wires and a bunch that don't look too good.
