Angry Engine Oil Leak

1996 Dodge Caravan...have an engine oil leak that I cannot detect...Checked all around however, I ve noticed looking at the exhaust manifold, oil is seen coming from the bolts that hold exhaust into block........No power lose, oil burning or smoke from engine....but it leaks about a quart a week......I cannot clearly see the gaskets but was hoping maybe someone may have some knowledge on this.......

may tie into my other question with my code 72...

Thank you in advance

Most of the times oil leaks from valve cover gasket. The best way to find out pin point leaks is to steam clean the engine and then add oil leak tracer die you can buy from napa. Then run the car and check with an ultra violet light.
The area you are describing seems to be from the valve cover gasket.
You will need valve cover gaskets and a plenum gasket. The front is easy to replace the rear one you will have to take the plenum and alternator out. Hope this helps.

Re: Engine Oil Leak

When was the last time you replaced to PCV Value. It it has been awhile try that first. The excess presure can cause a leak from the value covers. It it is the PCV replacing the gaskets will not help. Problem will return.
