Locks for Rear door of 95 Suburban LT
I have a 1995 Suburban with the swing out doors in the back. My automatic locks will unlock every door except the back doors. I have to use a key.
Has anyone else had this problems? Later, Jeff |

Hey man, you have to clean the contacts on the spring loaded buttons on the door jambs. Sometimes they get corroded being brass. If you notice that the rear defogger doesn't work either, it's the same case. Otherwise, that's all I know. Good luck.

Re: Locks for Rear door of 95 Suburban LT
if you pull the panel off the right side door the lock mechanism is right behind it. there you can check it for power and lube it at the same time.

My dealer changed the lock actuators in my '99 suburban under warranty when they quit working like that. It was my back door and the passenger side rear door.
