Can we talk about some other cars please! The SRT4 is really getting old fast its all people are talking about. Why is it so big all of the sudden its been out for a year?

i don't see why is such a big deal that he had a few srt4 threads....i've managed to find quite a few street racing videos with them and since this is a street racing forum i've posted them

they are clearly labeled srt4 threads so they can easily avoided

also steiner has one and he has every right to be proud of one and post info about them

and if you think they are just a pos neon don't buy one...its your money and your opinion...to a lot of us the srt4 its an amazing car with a ridiculously good engine

we hand a bunch of threads were we explained its strenghts and why its not a neon so why come here and flame?

And so what if it is a Neon? The Neon has a sterling SCCA competition record and standout reliability and fuel economy.

The only reason it has submarine levels of resale value is because people who still think Honda and Toyota are the Second Coming are willing to spend more to buy Civics and Corollas.

The Neon is a great little car for the money, and anyone who's owned a twin-cam Neon knows that they are FUN little cars. Give DaimlerChrysler some credit already. The only thing that seems to be bugging anyone is that the car they asked for, a practical wild-looking FF car with a powerful engine and high levels of grip for a bargain price, came from Dodge instead of Honda.

GASP! God forbid a major manufacturer listens to its customers and gives them what they want.

Since I registered here in late October I've only started a grand total of 4 threads...this one and three others.

This particular one is really the only SRT-4 specific thread I've started...and it's really more about the 2.4L turbo engine it comes with rather than the actual car itself.

I don't think you can call that "out of control". It's other people that start the SRT-4 threads...I just reply to them when I have something to say. IMHO it's in bad taste, and somewht predictable, to start a thread about your own make and model car unless you're asking for help or trying to sell it.

My post wasnt really aimed at you more at Nitro. What I was trying to get across was this is the STREET RACING forum. Not the SRT street racing forum. I like the SRT but hell im sick of hereing about soo much. Its like the SRTforum in here. And I just through the M5 out their, you say its not impressive I say the SRT4 is not all that impressive. I would take a mini over the SRT. Why you may ask because I care more about handling then stright line. The mini is designed to handle better than the SRT4 can. Stock for stock no, but the mini's DESIGN makes it so that if you put on some nice coilovers you could out handle most cars even if their modded or stock. Its just so small. My point was just that their are lots of other great cars and it seems like their a are a ton of SRT4 threads that are just video's of SRT killing this or that. Its like "look what SRT video I found...oh its not me though". Its like people on here are trying to prove some thing, what? I dont know but I think everone agrees the SRT is fast. However I guess this thread is not about another SRT kill so I retrack my earlyer statement. I guess I was just like "god another SRT thread" my bad. And Steiner I didnt mean to offend you I would enjoy hereing your kill stories any time.
