Tell me this, what's the difference between the two? Yeah, that's right. They both have almost the same purpose. They both suck in air, one sucks in colder air, but both suck in air.

If you take off a stock intake on a manual car & a stock intake on an automatic version of that same car, they will be identical, therefore logic dictates that a aftermarket intake that works for the manual will also work for the automatic, eh:bandit:

Yea that's true but the cold air is more dense having in it more oxygen molecules allowing for better combustion.

please tell your friend to understand how a car works. the transmission has nothing at all to do with how and engine works.. all it does is 'transfer' the power to the wheels.
