sqeeky brakes! BAH!

ok the brakes are killing me, my rear brakes are about 2 month old if not older and they sqeek like freaking crazy... I know its normal for new brakes to sqeek but over 2 months? is it a common problem with the FC? or are my brakes just gay as can be? any ways to stop this?

Re: sqeeky brakes! BAH!

Just asking...Take the wheels, etc off and check around. They might not have used anti-squeal. Although I havent met an RX-7 that doesnt have squeaky brakes.

Re: sqeeky brakes! BAH!

I have a TII and i have never experanced a brake squeak. Chances are the guy used the cheapest pads he could possibly use. They are so hard that when they contact the disc they make noise.

To check accelerate to 60 and then stomp on the braks pretty hard, if it dosent squeal, then its just some cheap pads.
