96 Blazer Electrical Problem

I have a '96 Blazer 2wd. I just replaced the EGR and throttle position sensor, but I get this odd problem. When driving, the "brake" and "anti-brake" lights come on, and the truck hesitates (similar to how it feels if the fuel pump loses pressure). After maybe 2 seconds power resumes and the 2 dash lights go out. It happens at any speed, but at slow speeds the truck will actually die, and the only way that it will restart is if the key is turned to the "off" position, then restarted. No "service engine soon" light accompanies this problem. Any ideas at all?
