Question suburban rear window

the rear window on my 86 suburban has frozen. The window is now open and won't go up. I can't access the motor to replace it without removing the window. How do I do that?

Re: suburban rear window

you will have to remove the acess panel to the reardoor and have someone push the up button while you lift on the window. also check electrical connections while your in there and make sure your control button is delivering power.

How did you get the door panel off?

Talking Re: Re: suburban rear window

Toivo:

Have a 97 Diesel burb with the left rear cargo door not opening. Could the be a contact problem, or do I have to take the door panel off to unlatch? Can the lock mechanism on the right rear door be worked on (this door opens) instead?

Thanks in advance.
