Body color advise

I'm about to start working on F&F Mitsu Eclipse with some custome body work. And I can't choose color for body or engine dressing. I was thinking of Tamaya Bright Red or Orange or Gold for body, but I don't know...
Is there anybody good in photoshop to see what it going to look like with may be black hood?

Same thing about interior.
I'm open for any propositions

THanks
Paul

Re: Body color advise

i can do some stuff in photoshop... just hook me up witht he pic... as for colors, people seem to like the tamiya lime green and one of the blues, think it's ts-50 (help?), or gun metal...

personally, i would go with a purple... lol! dont get any ideas... i've used model master's deep purple pearlescent, an i must say, it's a very vibrant color...

Hmmm either at Auto Zone or Checker Auto. I did use Duplicolors Clear coat as well so that I could polish it out nicely. I used Meguires Clenaer Wax and Plastic Polish to get it shiny , followed by Meguires Carnuba Wax for a little protection

Re: Body color advise

Did anyone tried these one?

PS
I just talked to Duplicolor Customer Service and guy told me that after using "Dupli-Color® Adhesion Promoter (CP199)" you can spay prity much anything you want.
Also he said that you can use Metalicast, but if you want to spray clear coat over it, then you would loose that metalic look.

What do you, guys, think about it?

Re: Body color advise

Wow, looks great. How many coats of primer, paint and clear did you apply and what time frame did you have between them?

Boy you got me there
THis particular model has alot of body work done, I chopped it and channeled it and smoothed the firewall so it has multiple coats of primer and putty. In general I usually go with 2 or 3 good coats of primer, you can pretty much follow right away within 20 minutes with the balck base coat. I waited overnight and shot the stage two ( 6 to 8 misted coats ) and again let it dry overnight followed by as many os 6 or 8 light coats of the celar topcoat.
