My fuel gauge does not work - shows empty when it is not. Is there a way to fix this?

Re: Fuel Gauge does not work
What is 'Sending Unit" and where is it located?

The sending unit is what tells your fuel gauge how much fuel you have and should be located somewhere around the tank. Your fuel gauge showing empty could also be what causes your check gauges light to come on. If both problems are on the same vehicle, they could possibly be related. Not sure though, just a guess.
