Re: *KOOL*dashboard

bad idea, dont mount speakers on your dash mabie like under your dash on the passenger side, personal oppinion, it owuld just look tacky, try putting like 2 extra ones in the rear next to the previous ones or something...

Fiber glass on dash boards is tricky in its self , it likes to shrink and crack after time but can be done. Do it and show us after. I like custom mods.

It also depends on the vehicle. Some vehicles have speakers in the dash, but for the life of me I can't remember which ones. I am sure its been done before.

geo metros have them in the dash, also chevy berrettas (however you spell it) but why do you want dash speakers? kick panels are alot easyer to do and sound alot better(sound travels to your ears at almost he same time)

I’ve read about some installers rigging small speakers in the vents. I’ve never personally seen it before, just in the magazines.

My 90 Cavalier has speakers on the dash. I have two 3.5 Volfenhengs and they out power my 5x7's in the back. but like neon said drop the highs or they will kill your ears

Re: *KOOL*dashboard

i think it would look sweet. you have the speakers like popping out...you know...like with the fiberglass. i have never thought of that. i will definitly add that to my list of to do's.
