'86 LeSabre stsrting problems
I just bought a '86 LeSabre Limited, drove it home with no problems, two hours later I go out, try to start the car adn it won't turn. My guess is its the starter that went bad. Anybody got any ideas/ suggestions?

Ck battery, alt for battery issues. Is either battery lead hotter than the other? If so, a defective connection is the problem to address first. Why guess? Test and replace what fails. Ray

I'm just a newby here with a '93 LeSabre. That happened twice to me. The lights and everything seemed to be bright and functioning, but turning the key did nothing. I looked at the manual and found that the key security can sometimes cause the car not to start. I just waited three minutes and tried it again and it started fine. Just an idea.

the 86 does not have key security. definately check tha battery.
