What I did is used two jacks to let the spring down slowly. One to support the car and one to let the spring down. After jacking up the car put another jack under your A arm. Loosen every thing necessary to let
the A arm swing all the way down. Then undo your shock and let the jack down slowly. Oh and you should probably use jack stands. Be safe |

Re: Spring comperssor or not?????
ask around, and see who you know that might have one. more people have spring comps than you may think. or even go to a shop and have them compress them on for like 20 bucks. then put them back on, already compressed, yourself. sofast's jack thing works, but it is a pain in the ass (i think he would agree).

I agree. It can be a pain if you have to wrench everything by hand. I have air tools so it makes everything easier. Hey try autozone. They rent tools for situations like this.

How low are you going? If you plan on going low I would get a camber kit. I droped my 88 last month and it put a good wear on my tires. Since then I have put a camber kit on. Yes they are easy to understand and are vehicle specific. I cambered mine with a tape measure. I probably should have had it done by a shop but I dont like anyone touching my ride. I also like to do my own work. If you need any help you can email me bro
