Audi Models

I looked at HLJ and it says they have a Audi 90 Quattro model that you can pre-order, but I've seen pics of this car completed, is there an older version? I wish to buy it and make it for a friend of mine. Any idea where to get it? Thanks

If the Fujimi kit is a re-release then it is a late 80's 4 door.
The only other Audi street car out is a early 80's Quattro Coupe put out by Tamiya.

the price stated at HLJ for the upcoming release of audi90 is 2500yen. It may be from the new mold as the pricing seems very high than usual re-release.

Re: Audi Models

That is some price!!! IIRC, the price of the original model was like 850 yen or so!

Re: Audi Models

I think there are 2 different Fujimi Audis.
One is the old discontinued Audi 80 1,9E which was painted white on the box picture.
Then there is this Audi 90 Quattro that soon will be available on HLJ. I have seen a box picture of it somewhere and it is painted in black and has the special Audi 90 wheels painetd in gold. Otherwise the body looked very much the same as the Audi 80 1,9E.
The price seems high though..

Yea, the late 80s-early 90s 4 door (Quattro 90) is the one I'm talking about. My friend has one, and I want to build him a replica. The one on HLJ is the only one then? So I have to wait, damn
