Was this a really good Christmas for anyone else?
I had a wonderful Christmas this year- got to see my family, spend some time with my gf's family, AND recieved a good deal of clothes and a sizeable chunk of $. Now, I know the RECIEVING part isn't so much of what the Xmas season is about, but when you're a poor college student, who's struggling to find a way to pay for a tuition bill that's exceeded the loan he'd taken out, the more money the better
 Has anyone else taken advantage of the after-Christmas sales to load up on discount candy, novelties, and other crap? I know I sure am. I've somehow taken up the task of amassing a horde of "Holiday" and "Winter" crap (of course, that cursed Political Correctness has reared its ugly head greater than ever this year, so items that are BLATANTLY Christmas themed are labeled with these more non-denominational monikers.) Most of this stuff is in the candy department. I have a sweet tooth somethng FIERCE, and am in dire need of scheduling my semi-annual dental cleaning (now rather long overdue) so I suppose I should be careful  I've also called around to several pet stores, and have located one that expects a litter of baby Hedgehogs very soon (see my earlier post about this) so I'm likely going to put some money down on that. Oh yeah, and on an archery package- for some reason I really have the urge to get into archery. As for the rest of the $, most is going into previously mentioned tuition, with a little extra put aside for some books. Interestingly enough, I don't have the urge to invest in anything car related this year  There's nothing wrong with that, right?  What are my fellow AF'ers doing with their Christmas (or -insert observed tradition here- ) acquisitions?

My christmas was ok, spent time w/ fam.
I am really enjoying all the holiday goodies and treats this year tho.

My Christmas was fun. I spent time with my family. I got some cool gifts such as Final Fantasy X-2 for PS2, some gift cards to Best Buy, and my favorite gift was my new digital camera. My bother got an XBOX for Christmas with Halo, Need for Speed Underground, and Dead or Alive: Extreme Beach Volleyball.

 Oh well...........Been enjoying my new ride too much to care- may as well do- because the rest of Christmas sucked

i had surgery the 18th so i was stuck in bed for xmas....therefore it sucked for me...

eh...im ok...could be better...could be worse though, too...it just sucks not being able to do much...im normally a very active person...this downtime is killing me...i dont have anything to do...

Greetings!
It's been a busy December....been getting the house in order and just busy busy busy....I am hoping in the next week or 2 to actually get wedding pics uploaded As for my Christmas it was great! Got to see all family that is in town on both my side and Alex's. Went and saw Return of the King after dinner....excellent end to a trilogy in my opinion As for gifts we had what we called our "first and poor married Christmas"  Although we did go a bit out of the budget. I got Alex a new chrome grille for the Roadmaster, and now it looks PIMP. Got gift cards for the rest of the family because its hard to tell who needs/wants what these days. And from Alex I got a PS2 with Castlevania and ATV2 Offroad Fury. I have been on vacation since Dec 23, so I am catching up on alot of stuff at home. Today I battled my home office, which was a wreck from both sides merging paperwork  Tomorrow I am gonna meet my supervisor for a bit to help her clear out an office we are no longer renting, then the rest of time I am gonna get a headstart on my spring cleaning. That's about all going on for me
