is it possible to put a spoon chip on a odbII?

I have a 99 acura integra gsr and cuz its late than a 96 it has a obdII ecu. I was told that the obdI is easy to change the chip but the obdII is a freakin pain in the ass and its not worth it. Basically to spend like 25 bucks and get 18 horses ill take the pain in the ass. Is it possible to do it or is there an adaptor for it? Also how would I do the change? I was told my ecu was next to the passengers right foot but i would like a second opinion. Any and all info would help. Thank you.

Can't you get an OBDI harness conversion to convert from OBDII to OBDI and then get a chipped OBDI ecu?

Is it a spoon ecu shipped over from Japan. Or is it a "Spoon" ECU chip off ebay. Id recommend you leave it alone personanlly. If you get serious, then hondata is the way to go.

how effective are the JET chips and does the hondata replace your entire ecu...if someone could explain that would be cool...

Spoon and Mugen do not make chips only ECU's. There are OBI to OBD II harnesses out there(Skunk2 makes one) and Jet chips suck. They just richen your mixture and advance your timing a little. You can do that your self by turning your dizzy a little and unplugging your map sensor(don't do this for too long unless you want your cat to explode.)
