verify recall work on used Ram
Hello all,
I got an used 2001 Ram. How can I verify that recall work has been completed on my truck? Thanks, Happy New Year

Did you buy this truck at a dealer? They can find out what kind of work has been performed on it by checking the files they have if the truck was purchased from them, but if it was not originally purchased from them then it will not show anything. You would then have to go to the DMV and find out who owned it before, and ask them what they had done to it.

I found a place on the Dodge website that allows one to check their vehicle and see if there are any outstanding recalls. All you need is the last 8 digits of your VIN.
