Subwoofer Wiring Harness???

Short Question: Where can I get a wiring harness schematic for the amplifier the goes to the factory subwoofer in a 96 explorer?

Long Question: Hey, I was stripping down some wired off the Factory amplifier in my 96 Explorer Limited and I was wondering where I could get the schematics for the wiring, because I am wondering what some of the wires are.

I am taking out the factory amp and installin a pioneer amp to go witha rocksford fosgate subwoofer.

I need the same information. However, you should see two connectors on the bottom of the unit. Two are speaker leads and will clearly be going into the speaker enclosure. Two will be heavier guage and are power and ground.

Its the connector on top that has me puzzled. Three wires Black, White and Red. The black appears to be ground, the white has 5vdc on it and the red has 7vdc. The red thumps the sub when metered.
Do I assume its the audio input? Whats the DC voltage on it for? Is the other wire a turn on lead? anyone?

Hey Sean i pretty much figured out all the speaker wire stuff I think but not totally sure. But there is one part that is still confusing me. For the power cables that run to the amp, is there a System Control wire??? If not, how does the amp cut on and off with the car. Right now I see that 2 green wires go into one and come out as a red wire and then a black and green come out as a yellow. Basically I just wanna know if there is a system control wire???

IM NOT SURE IF THERE IS A WIRING HARNESS FOR THE SUBWOOFER ITSELF, BASICALLY THE AMPLIFIER WORKS ON IGNITION, ONCE YOU TURN ON THE IGINITION YOUR AMPLIFIER SHOULD TURN ON, I DO NOT KNOW WHICH WIRE IT SHOULD BE, THE ONLY THING I CAN TELL YOU IS TO GET A LIGHT TESTER AND TEST ALL 3 INDIVIDUALLY WITH THE IGNITION OFF AND IGNITION ON, CHECK AND SEE IF THIS PAGE HELPS YOU http://www.streetdreams.com/wires/ford/premium.html , I HAVE A QUESTION THOUGH, WHY NOT JUST BUY A AMPLIFIER KIT, AND CONNECT IT ALL FROM THE START, I MEAN YOU WILL HAVE TO INSTALL SOME RCA WIRES FROM THE RADIO RCA OUTPUT TO THE AMPLIFIER INPUT, WHY NOT INSTALL THE 12V, NEGATIVE, REMOTE AND RCA FROM START, THAT WHAT I DO WHEN I INSTALL AMPLIFIERS ON THESE VEHICLES, PEACE

Here is the deal with what I got so far.

1. I got the amp hooked up so it turns on and off with the car, but I had to go back to the other amplifier to get the power control switch wire and stripped it back and split it off so that I could run the factory amp for the speakers and my Pioneer amp for the sub.
2. The ONLY -Problem- is that like you said I split the big grey wire. Which is the speaker wire coming out from the stock amplifier, but those speaker wires seem to be RESTRICTED to its power because the sub is not louad at ALL.
3. What I am thinking of doin is getting the speaker wires before they actually get into the factory amplifier and split them off so that I can get the full power need for the sub amplifier.
4. I just need to know what wires are the speaker wires so that I can strip them babies back and split em and finish this little project of mine.
