possible motor swap in my civic suggestions?

My parents purchased a 1987 Honda 2dr (sports model) accord hatchback with the optional trunk feature. My friend has a 04 viper srt14 with the 4g64twin turbo motor in it (stock) and just crashed yesterday and said i could have his 12 and a half speed transmision and the 17 clynder motor (4g64 twin turbo stock) and i was going to do this myself since i read these forums all the time. And figured how hard could it be. My only question is when i get the car running this thursday how much boost should i push and what 1/4 mile times should i be expecting at what rpms. In my 1987 Honda 2dr (sports model) accord hatchback with the trunk option for performance?

You seem to be very fortunate for this motor to just fall right in your lap. Just to think twin turbos in an accord. With that motor i think you would be dipping into the low 7's in the 1/4 mile and easily pushing over 1000 hp to the wheels. I would love to be a part of something like this, If you need any help or have final pictures when its done on thursday feel free to e-mail me

I plan on emailing you Iplanondoingit, and if you live near. you should plan on stoppin by, because i'll probably be planning on being done around noon on thursday, and grap a bite at the popeyes down the road, and plan on getting some popcorn chicken and than go to this place called eip that has a dynamicometer that reads hp tq. So we should meet up and tell me what the turbos should be spooling up at what rpms. so i dont get boost creep?

Re: possible motor swap in my civic suggestions?

If it can be worked out and finished on thursday, i would deffinetly come out to see this amazing work, and i would plan on coming earlier if you need help. But it looks like we could have someone else interested, Hello Integraman31. I'm assuming you have yourself an Integra, tell us about it?

I plan on having it done wendsday night, but need one more day to over look the engine bay of it all. For a few last minute things, and you are more than welcome to come look over it with me. To hear it fire up the first time. And integman31 my accord is not for sale if thats why u want to come on by. But if you live near the area and want to see the dynamicometer run at eip the one that is in carroll county than you could meet us up their if thats alright with iplanondoingit. By the way how old are you and i assume your a man.
