Can you hear the wiper motor running? Have you checked the jam nuts at the base of the wiper arms. They're desinged to loosen themselves in the event the wipers get hung up.....ie: ice, obstruction, crud, whatever.

Well once happened to me that the switch was not working properly and if I jiggled and hold it in a certain position it worked. If the fuse is ok and no motor sound you hear then "wiggle it, just a little bit" the switch to see what happens

OK to me look like the switch is the trouble. The side marker is a module that includes the hazard as well. to get to the cable you must take off the sterringwheel column top and lower covers.
If you are going to do this buy the switch first it is not that expensive

Re: Wipers wont work?? fuse still good!?

kilroypr is right about the switch. my girlfriend has a 2000 gp and her wipers quit working properly. most of the time we had to pull the fuse just to make them stop. the variable speed didnt work either. we took it to the dealer and they said that it was the multifunction switch(controls wipers, turn signals, cruise, hazard lights). from the dealer it will cost over 400$ to have it installed. but i ordered one from autozone for 228$ and it got there by lunchtime the next day. just the other day i put it in. it's expensive but that's probably what will have to be done. her wipers work perfectly now.

if you are going to have to do that to your car, be VERY careful with the airbag if you have to remove it. I dont know how older gps are but the 97 up ones have to have the airbag taken out of the wheel. by far the best instructions for doing anything like that would be in a Chiltons book....get one...it will tell you everything
