starter? battery?

my car doesnt start most of the time....it takes about 10 times to start. but sometimes i think it is the battery and sometimes i think its the starter. When i turn the key it clicks and sometimes turns over likes its almost gonna start but then doesnt. Does anyone know what this is?

try cleaning the terminals on your battery, could be acid buildup. If not, could be the battery, but try your local gas station and get a reading on your battery/starter to see which is the culprit.
