When I did this it shifted strong like there was nothing wrong. Sometimes when I stopped it would require the procedure to be repeted.
It has aprox. 120,000 miles on it. Its a real nice van expecialy for $300 but it would be nice to fix it.

Okay I'll try to help you out here since I rebuilt one of these units myself so I also have the ATSG manual on this trans. First thing to try is change the fluid and filter with ONLY and I mean ONLY Mopar ATF+3 Fluid. Check the pan while your at it and look for black chunks (clutch material) - bad news... if you see a bit of fine brass twinklies not much of a worry. Then get the codes read out on it (Any shop with the snap-on scanner can do this) and get the readings for any codes, and also the CVI's (Clutch Volume Indexes) these will give a good idea of what kinda shape her guts are in. If you get the codes I can try to decipher them for you. Another try is the input and output speed sensors and their connectors - this alone is probably #1 cause for intermittent limp in. Let me know shat you find,
Geoff
