how to make your car faster!!!!
i got a muffler and it added alot . i want to reach as high as i can without using turbos,sc,pc,nos what else can i add to get the performance i want. I am planning on getting a weaponr intake but what else can i add.I have a 90 toyota celica gt-s 5sfe motor...

well you wont get a huge amount of power without a sc or a turbo... i probably would recomend small things like a ecu, air intake, lowering the car, wider tires (helps break off line), maybe bigger & lighter rims also for better turning... maybe even lightening up the car... i cant think of that much because you wont get a lot of power without f/i...

well i looked that turbo up and.... first off... if you want a lot of power, that isnt the way to go... even if you didnt want a huge amount i dont think that kit is worth it.. one reason is because it only adds 45bhp... so now you have a 190bhp celica... THEY WANT $2500!!!! u can find a 3sgte 2nd gen for less than they want which has 200hp stock... for maybe $3000 u can get a jdm 2nd gen 3sgte which has 225hp stock... now u can go ahead and get it... but if your going in the turbo direction... a 3sgte is recommended

who said that? obviously you dont want to drag the car because you werent even going to turbo the car... if you were going to then yes... you couldnt get that much hp out of it than most cars that drag... the max is 350hp... is that number too low for u? on the stock motor it puts out 245hp.... so you decide... can you get a lot of power out of it?

Somewhere down the road you have to compromise. You can't add a big turbo to an engine that didn't come with one to begin with. You can't build a non boosted engine to perform near a boosted engine unless you spend twice the money on it. Where are you located? You may be able to buy a 3SGTE clip cheaper than you think....
