Question Straight Pipes Legal??

I was just wondering if straight pipes were legal in Canada, BC. If anyone knows, please tell me. I cannot choose which exhaust system to get, so I guess i'll go straight...

You need a muffler. Read all about it here:

Straight pipes will drive you nuts. Just as annoying as a fart-can on a civic, in my opinion.

I'll say it, guy's like you piss me off to no end.

There is no damn reason, your car should be that loud.

That is my opinion!

I agree with SkylineUSA, if loudness = power then my 1980 Chevy Chevette should have been the fastest car on Earth when the muffler fell off.

"i jus like loud V8's"

That is what I am getting at.

02 bullit with straight, does he have cats?

Show off what to the imports, that your car is loud and obnoxous? I would love to see you loudass Stang, get toasted by one of the imports.

Loud cars, getting the asses handed to them by a quiet car, that is what I love.

I run, Dynomax 16" Bullets, with Borlas, and had my exhaust routed around the Pan Hard Bar out the back. It is way quiet, but its fairly loud at WOT.

There are very few Stangs that have PHB, with the exhaust out the back. It coast a little more, but it is worth it to me, because the interior is a lot quieter.

An American 4 cylinder can fart just as loud as anything from Japan or Germany. However, try not to get caught up in the whole import/domestic grudge. Just be open minded to anything with four wheels ( or two for that matter ). Fast is fast, and slow is slow. The distinction becomes moot when you hitting a 13 second quartermile.

My advice is to run as quiet as you can and as fast as you can. Don't give Johnny Law an opportunity to notice you.
