!993 Grand Am Power Windows

The windows, all four of them operate extremely slow. Sometimes they stop half way up or down. The battery is new and the alternator output is fine. Should I look for a faulty switch or a bad ground. Thanks in advance for all replies.

Re: !993 Grand Am Power Windows

I understand that sometimes when resistance is to high on the driver switch all the switches might fail(partially). I do not know what the Ohmiage should be when the switch is engaged but I would replace the driver window switch. In one instance in my Z-34 the driver side windows was not working at all. Logically I replaced the passenger side switch and did not fixed the problem.
I replaced the driver side and worked like a charm. They are wired in a way that if the driver switch fails other will not work properly.
