69 chevelle

How much should I expect to pay for a 69 chevelle with the body in decent condition? I don't really care about motor condition that much. Also was the SS any lighter, did it have different suspension, or was it just a different motor and tranny? I know little about chevelles but i like them and they are more affordable than the gto i want. I would really appreciate the help.

Re: 69 chevelle

I have a 69 chevelle and I have ran the numbers on a couple of different websites and through year one and the only thing that I can dig up is that it was a factory air car from out west. In year one it said that in 68-69 the cars were dealer option SS cars and their was no sure way of telling about them unless you talked to the original owner or the lot that sold it if it is still in buisness. I have looked hard for other places to find out info about these cars but no luck so far....A1 is pretty good and knows his stuff so that web site may help if you find out what it is for sure please tell me how you found out! so far the only thing I can find is if it has a V-8 and the dealer added the wheels and hood and paint then it was a real SS so for now that is what I have a 69'SS I hope this helps if you find something let us know please!
