$4,500 t0 $7,000 tops.
Not an SS car, not a big block. 10 bolt rear end.
You might do some comparisons at

Thank you for your reply. I did check the webpage you gave me and let me tell you......I wasn't too impressed. There are a lot of nice Chevelles in there but the SS with 396 engines are in the 20's and 30's.
I think you're a little off on the pricing because eventhough this is not a 396 engine, this 350 LT1 can give you a run for your money even if you have a 396 (same horse power),,,and you can research this info so you'll know I'm not nuts.
I saw everyhthing on this page you gave me...I saw from 1968 Yenko Clones which there were never any...they starter coming up in 1969 all the way to a 1969 small block for $13,000 and a 69 with a regular 350 for $12,800. If I compare apples to apples I think mine is A LOT BETTER than $7,000 not to mention.........$4,500?????
But I really want a thank you for your comments...this is what is all about...have a good conversation and learn more about our hobby...........MUSCLE CARS!!!!!!

It doesn't make any difference how fast it is. It's still a small block with small block trans and rearend.
It's what sells and big blocks are selling. Bottom line.
I can find a half dozen cars like yours for $5,000. I wasn't trying to buy it just telling you what its worth.
Last year I bought three Malibus with one with 307 and two with 350. Bought them all for under $6,000. Installed 396 or 402 with turbo 400 and sold all for over $15,000.
That's just the facts.
I'm sure someone will pay what you want for your car.
You asked for opinions of what it was worth and you got mine.

I know a 396 will be more impressive than a 350 and it will sell for more.
I don't know where you can get a showcar (not a trailer queen) for $5,000 but I guess if you are in the right place at the right time you can get lucky!!!!
Good luck buying and selling cars....really sounds like a fun bussiness

Re: Re: Chevelle enthusiasts...can you put a price on this Chevelle?

I agree with the $4,500 - $7,000 price and I know its hard to realize but I would be able to put a price on mine either if I had to sell it, sentimental value and all, that and the dented fender, and no motor. Its a tough time in a persons life when they have to sell a car that I'm sure you loved, but good luck with the sale I hope she finds a good new home
