Need to put a dispute to rest.

Do cars imported (Specifically Skylines) from japan get cut physically into two pieces? Some guy at work says that they cut all japanese imports in half before shipping, and that the RI rewelds them.

I think its bogus. I wish to let him know that he's full of fecal matter.

Oh that's great...

Tell your friend he's full of poopie. I'm no expert on importing cars, but having to cut them in half for what reason? I don't know. Is unheard of.

I'm pretty sure they get shipped in containers, or some sort of auto transporter.

So, when someone lays down 90k for a R34 GTR, that car has been cut in half? I don't think so.

maybe if you are buying a front clip you get from the fenders forward that is about the only cut part i can think of
cutting a car in half just fucks it up
