Mid Range Sedan --> Maxima, TL, Accord, Mazda6...

Hey

If you guys (and girls) can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it...

My mom is in need of a new car...(prolly not buying 'till next year tho), and I'm convincing her 2 get a sedan rather than an SUV or Van (again, uggh..) She's looking to spend 'round $40K (Canadian), so I've suggested the following:

-2004 Mazda 6
-2004 Nissan Maxima
-2004 Acura TL
-2004 Honda Accord EX-V6

Can you help me/her decide, or list any other car suggestions in around this price range...thanx alot!

Re: Mid Range Sedan --> Maxima, TL, Accord, Mazda6...

i'm a big fan of maxima's but i'd go with an 02/03 over a brand new 04.
the new TL's are real hot and acura's service is excellent as is honda's. the new v6 accord is also awesome. i'd go with the TL, then the accord, then the max and wouldn't really consider the 6.

if you wanna look at a midsize nissan i'd look at the infiniti G35 as a substitute for the maxima. it's substantially faster, looks awesome, comes in 2 door and 4 door, 5 speed manual, 6 speed manual or 5 speed auto, and recently the option for AWD became available(which uses the famous nissan skyline attessa transmission) on the sedan.

Re: Re: Mid Range Sedan --> Maxima, TL, Accord, Mazda6...

well, to be honest all new cars suck and are hella ugly....just compare old TL to new TL, new acord to old accord....

but anyways, depends on what u want cuz looks suck as far as all of them go....id go with the maxima i guess i think its the fastest....

but if u want reliability it comes down to the two hondas
